Butters was a tiny, flea covered kitten we took from Baltimore County Animal Control last year. We bathed and bathed her to get them all off, and she just purred the whole time. She's a goofy girl who thinks her time to show you affection is when you have to go to the bathroom. She'll sit on the side of the tub and tap you, to let you know that you should pet her since you're not real busy.

Butters is a petite girl, up-to-date on vaccinations, tested negative for felv/fiv and spayed.

We do not have a shelter. Instead, we do this out of our home and a network of foster homes. For this reason, we require a completed, approved adoption application before we allow visits with any animals. For an application, you can either email us, or visit www.charmcityanimalrescue.com, click on Adoption Process, and submit the online form.

About Charm City Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

CCAR is not a shelter, but we do obtain our animals from shelters. Donations are a big part of rescue. Adoption fees rarely cover the expenses involved in saving and caring for an animal. All money received by our organization is always applied directly towards the care and well-being of rescued animals. The money allows us to spay/neuter, vaccinate, and feed animals who have had a very difficult life before we rescued them, and we use our own funds up front for their care. Donations help ease that burden, and make it possible to save more lives. We rely on private donations, fundraisers, and adoption fees to fund our rescue, which covers the cost of out-of-pocket expenses such as vet care, food, litter, etc. We are a federally recognized 501c3, which makes all donations tax deductible.
