Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Benedict is a 5 year old Chihuahua/dachshund mix who weighs just 8 lbs. Benedict was dumped at the shelter by his family. No reason given. He was depressed and scared while in the shelter but his kissy, lovable, sweet nature is starting to come out now that he is safe in rescue. He is picking up housetraining and leash training very quickly and is a super fast, smart learner. He learns best in a quiet environment without distractions. He has a companion, Rocket, and they get along so well together. They play all day without any aggression pr resource guarding. Benedict's separation anxiety has greatly improved since he has acquired his doggie friend. He has a low energy level and doesn't like to walk more than about 20 minutes without wanting to be picked up. LOL! He loves being carried and held. He loves giving kisses so much but he sometimes throws in a little love bite so it may not be a good idea for him to be around super small kids. he is a darling boy who just lives to be loved.
