Stitches's Story...
Meet Stitches! This girl loves to be petted and talked to, and she has a wonderful purr! She also likes to be around whoever is caring for her and she definitely enjoys sleeping with people! But she likes to have her own space sometimes too. A perfect day for Stitches includes several rounds of playing with her people followed by petting and snuggles. She will be a great companion! She does great with kids and is ok with dogs too. Stitches is about a year old and weighs about seven pounds. She is litter box trained, spayed, microchipped, felv/fiv tested and up to date on all her vaccinations.

Stitches is currently fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but is not picky about where she ends up as long as she is loved.

If you'd like more information on this pet, or would like to schedule a visit with her, please email info@FORrescue.net or apply directly at http://www.FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stitches, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
