Samantha's Story...
Sadie is adopted!! We are three 4 1/2 month old girls that were rescued from a local shelter. Although shy we are very sweet. We would love to find someone that would be patient with us. Our names are Samantha (Sammi), Sadie and Suzie Q. Of the 3 I (Sammi) am the most adventurous. I love to play with my pompom ball and carry it around. Sadie is super sweet and loves to be petted, whereas Suzie is just plain shy and will need that special touch. We know with the right someone we will blossom into beautiful, loving kitties as we are well on our way now. Are we worthy of your time and efforts? Is our furever home with you? Please give us a chance.

Please call CARE @ (804)288-9797 or apply online and ask our foster mom Connie all about us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
