Sandy's Story...
My name is Sandy. I was born around October of 2014. I am a big girl, but please don't let my size fool you, I love to cuddle up beside my foster mom and dad. I am not sure what breeds are all in me, but maybe shepherd/mastiff/pitbull with some other great dogs mixed in too! I enjoy chewing and nibbling on shoes when i can get one, but my foster parents are great at teaching me right from wrong! I love chasing my tail and playing fetch with the little boy(4) who lives here. My other friend, the cat also enjoys playing with me and curling up to have a nap. I love sticking my head in the snow outside and rolling around in it. I am learning all about my crate and i do settle in it for the evening and when my foster parents are at work. I will, however let you know when i need to go outside
If you would like to come and meet me and maybe even adopt me so I can have a home of my own, then please fill out an application at www.newhoperescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a Saskatoon Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mastiff puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mastiff for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mastiff puppy from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mastiff breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
