Jobe's Story...
This sweet boy is Jobe. He is currently about 2 years old. Him and his mother, Hope were taken from a very neglectful household about 4 weeks ago. They were both very skinny and had never been to the vet. Hope is estimated to be 4 years old. Jobe was also heartworm positive but he has now been treated for them. He also had retained both of his testicles so his neutering was quiet painful for him but he never missed a beat- he is such a happy boy and loves everyone and everything. But his mom- Hope- is not good with other dogs. She loves Jobe but she has growled at most all other dogs the foster mom has tried to introduce her to. We would really like for Hope and Jobe to stay together as they have always been together and Hope would be lost without Jobe. I do think if an adopter would take Hope to a trainer, she might get over some of her issues with other dogs. Hope is wonderful with all humans though. They are located in Arkansas but we have transport that goes to the Northeast weekly. They are Got Orphans Transport and you can check them out at For more info on Jobe and Hope- please email Sandy at and thank you for considering adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jobe, a albany Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in albany, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
