Cassia's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cassia's Story...
Cassia and her littermates were found living in a hollowed out tree trunk at 2 weeks old with their mom, Willow, in a rural area of West TN. We were alerted to them right before a big ice storm was moving in so we scooped them up and got them to safety. They've grown and are happy, healthy, social puppies. They are about 7 weeks old now and about 5 pounds. (Mom is about 45 pounds) They will be ready for adoption in a few weeks but we are now taking apps on them. They are currently being fostered in West TN and will be transported once an adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add one of these beautiful puppies to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cassia, a Southington Husky/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Southington, or seeking a Husky/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Husky/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
