My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome as always in black is our guy, DOC. Doc is a full blooded male, Labrador retriever. Doc is approx. 18 months old and currently weighs 65 - 70 lbs. He is at his adult size and weight. Doc is current on vaccinations, has been neutered, and is fully treated for heart worms and only requires monthly preventative---which he is currently taking.

Doc is a dog that was picked up by our local animal control officer. The owner was identified, but said that they could not afford a dog. Doc was surrendered to our rescue in hopes of finding him a great home. And he is a GREAT dog. Doc is house trained, walks well on his leash, and is great riding in the car. He is super friendly to any body, any dog, and loves cats. He is the perfect family dog, but he does need space to run and roam around. He would be a great walking or running partner and loves to hike. Be careful about taking him around water because he has a tendency to dive right in. Loves the water as any Lab would. Doc is ready to transport to his new home at any time.
