My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jinx is a what we believe to be a rottie mix puppy that was found on the side of a road by some good samaritans. They took him in, and when he became ill took him to a veterinary for care. It turned out he had Parvo, and the good samaritans paid for his care and fortunately he was able to fully recover. He has since been neutered, and has received all his vaccinations, including his rabies vaccination. Jinx is now in foster care, as the good samaritans who found him lived in an apartment and the apartment management was not at all happy about them having three dogs.

Jinx gets along with other dogs. He does seem to want to be alpha dog a bit, but is not too obnoxious about it. So, he might do well in a home with a more submissive dog. We don't know about cats or little dogs yet. Jinx has had exposure to children, men, and women. He is a friendly dog and very interested in people and hanging out. He is content to be inside chewing on a chewie, or outside romping around in the backyard. Because of his larger size I feel he would be best in a home with a fenced yard. He seems to be housebroken at this point. His new family should be willing to attend obedience classes with him too, as it is the best way to really bond with a pet, as well as help him develop house manners. Previous rottie experience preferred.
