My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charlie, an adorable 11 week old, 3 lb male Yorkie puppy. Charlie is being fostered in Stella NC.

Updated Bio 3/10/15 Charlie is a 12-week old Yorkie male being fostered in Stella, NC

Hi Everyone, I am Charlie the new United Yorkie Rescue puppy. Wow! What a crazy week I've had... I'm at a new home now and my foster family is pretty cool. I have two foster siblings and get along great with them. They don't want to play as much as I do, but that's ok! I can't help it...I'm a puppy!

My foster mom says I'm doing good with house training. She scoops me up quick and takes me outside when I try to go in the house. Something tells me I'm supposed to go outside. I'm trying...I really am! She says I'm learning good. I like to sleep in my crate at night in my foster parents' bedroom. I like it in there - cozy and safe while I sleep. I don't make a sound.

I like to chew a lot! Foster mom says I can't chew on flip flops or fingers, so she gave me some chew toys. I love them! She also says I have a vet appointment next week so I can get my first rabies shot. I'll let you all know how that goes. Bye for now!

Puppy love from Charlie 🐾

Charlie will need his shots and neuter before any adoption can happen, but we are taking applications.

Because of his young age and small size Charlie cannot go a home with children under the age of 14.

Initial Bio 03/07/2015 Charlie came from owners who loved him very much. They had an existing Yorkie in their home and didn't know that they had a one pet only clause in their lease when they acquired Charlie. They reached out to UYR to help find Charlie a perfect new forever home.

Please stay tuned for updates on Charlie as his foster Mom gets to know him better!
