Lady's Story...
An appropriate name for the perfect dog for you! Hello, my lovey loves! I am the wonderful Lady of Lodi. I have come to share my love with a perfect family in need. A loving family with respectful gentle children 5+, no cats, and other dogs only if they have ones that are not overly dominate. I am a lady, after all, and don't need to be man-handled. I am quite sensitive and appreciate a slow introduction and very relaxed atmosphere when meeting new people. I do warm up very quickly when someone gets my kindling smoking, though. My crate etiquette is quite refined, and with positive-reinforcement training I can add anything to my resume you want to show me. Luck might be on your side if you can take this Lady home tonight. 4 years old-44lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes spay, microchip, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Portland Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound for sale in Portland, or seeking a Foxhound dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound breeders who help with Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
