Little Jay:  He's a long haired tuxedo cat who is full of affection! He is fairly dominant, but doesn't choose to be aggressive with the others, at least when there is a person in the room, because he likes humans so much that he'd rather be with them. He also likes going inside the pillows and showing only a lump of himself.  If you sit down, he wants to join you and will happily hang around on your lap for awhile to get petted, as long as you are interested. This boy would love to live with humans!

Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit(in Orange County, CA). For more information on adoption policies visit our homepage at Contact us by, or by phone (714)893-4393

About Animal Assistance League of Orange County

About Our Shelter...

The Animal Assistance League of Orange County is a non-profit 501(c)3 no kill humane society dedicated to aiding lost and homeless pets, helping people with pet related problems, promoting responsible pet-ownership and pet population control, and preventing cruelty to animals through educational programs.

The organization took its first steps in 1973 with a few animal lovers who wanted to reunite pet owners with lost pets. Today there is a no-kill shelter located in Midway City, with a population of approximately 110 cats and dogs. There is a telephone/email helpline that assists pet owners with a variety of issues, including spay/neuter, pet aid for low-income pet owners, animal abuse and any number of other issues related to cats and dogs.

AALOC is managed almost entirely by volunteers. The reason we do what we do is that we care deeply about animal welfare and hope to make a difference - at least in our part of the world.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our no-kill shelter is located at 15102 Jackson Street, Midway City, CA 92655. Potential adopters can visit any day from 10:00-3:00.

Our Adoption Process...

The fee for adoptions is $150/dogs, $100/cats. We require a home visit, veterinarian reference, application. Pools must be fenced. Dog doors not allowed for small pets due to the prevalence of coyotes. If there is a yard, the fence must be 5 feet. Gates should be locked.
