Koopa's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Koopa's Story...
Koopa is a 2-year old, neutered male Chihuahua who weighs 6.5 lbs. He is lively and very active and is fine with most other dogs. He would like an active home with children over 6 years of age.

He is looking forward to a breed-savvy adopter with time to work on his skills at leash walking, reinforcing housetraining, etc. He's a very kissy guy, but sensitive to sudden movements.

He is at the North County Animal Shelter, and his ID number is A1210962, his necktag number is N375, and his kennel number is N013.

Call 760-966-3214 or visit me at 5480 Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Koopa, a Vista Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Vista, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
