Osmond's Story...
The world can be a cruel place sometimes and Osmond experienced that at a very young age. Someone dumped him and his litter mates at the home of a total stranger on Christmas Day and left them there. That stranger could have selected many bad choices for the puppies, but Osmond lucked out because he was dumped at a place occupied by someone with a heart of gold. The Good Samaritan took the whole litter of puppies out of the cold December winter. She then reached out to us for help and fortunately we were able to help. Osmond is a Hound mix and will likely grow into a larger dog. He is a typical puppy who is learning his potty manners and loves to play with other dogs. He is doing very well in his foster home and loves everyone he meets. Osmond is about 4 months old as of March 2015. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, neutered and microchipped. If you are interested in giving Osmond the loving home that he deserves, please complete an adoption application at ITVrescue.org. This sweetie is waiting for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Osmond, a Evansville Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
