My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a 3 year old standard schnauzer that loves everyone. He is crate and house trained and will let you know when he needs to go out to potty. Being a standard schnauzer he weighs around 35 pounds. He came to us when his former owner had to move and was unable to have him at her new home. Here is what she had to say about him, "Max is a lover and men are his favorite. He loves children and women and other dogs as well. He is very playful and smart, and is easily trained. Max loves getting a bath and likes to hop in the shower with me. He is easily groomed. He will go in his crate when told "get in your bed".
Max's current foster mom agrees with all of these statements and says he is a pleasure to foster. He was anxious at first in his new surroundings but settled in quickly and gets along with everyone. Max unfortunately was heartworm positive when his former owner took him in. He has completed his heartworm treatment, been neutered and is now healthy and ready for his forever home!
