Paisley's Story...
Meet Paisley! She is approximately 8 months old and 10lbs. Paisley came from a high kill shelter in Oklahoma and we do not know anything about her history. She is such a sweet spunky little girl. She is extremely submissive with other dogs and kind of likes to play with her foster cats because they are her size (She does not chase cats). She has also grown found of her foster brother dog and they play and wrestle all day long. She is also not nippy whatsoever and is easy to handle. Paisley is doing great with potty training and if let out on a schedule she does not have accidents.

Paisley is currently being fostered in Colorado Springs but her foster family is willing to drive to the Greeley area. If you are interested in meeting Paisley please start by filling out our adoption application: http://www.caninecandor.com/adoption-application.html

Paisley's adoption fee is $200, she is spayed, micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paisley, a Greeley Pug/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Greeley, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Greeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
