This is a courtesy post. Tyson is not in one of our foster homes, however, we have met him and he is a wonderful dog.
Tyson is about 4 years old, and is urgently in need of a new home. His owner has cancer and is undergoing treatment and the family is no longer able to keep him.
Tyson is a portly soul with a great personality. He definitely needs to lose some weight, and when his owners had time for him he loved to run, play, and go for walks. Once he starts going for regular walks or can play fetch with his new family, he will lose that weight in no time. He is very obedient, and was allowed off leash, always sticking close by his family. He knows all his basic commands.
Tyson has lived with kids and small dogs, but would be best in a home without dogs larger then he is. He is neutered and in great health. If you are interested in adopting Tyson, you would be helping not only a great dog, but a great family as well. They are so sad that they can't take care of him and their situation is heartbreaking.
To adopt Tyson, fill out our online dog application or download our Microsoft Word dog application and return it to sheltersurvivors@live.com. It will expedite the process.
