Harriet's Story...
Here’s Harriet, the sweetest girl you will ever meet!
Harriet is a 5 year old Cocker Spaniel with the cutest freckles! She is adjusting wonderfully to her foster home – her favorite things include cuddling with her foster mom and running! This girl loves to run and play outside so a home with a fenced yard is a must for her. She gets so excited when she is outside and runs and jumps just like a puppy. You can’t help but smile and laugh when you see her playing, she will certainly help make your day much brighter!

She has a wonderful temperament and would do great in a home with other dogs and people alike. Harriet is a happy girl but is a little jumpy when she hears a loud noise. She is a little shy when she first meets people but she quickly warms up once she gets to know you.
She is almost housebroken but still needs some guidance. She has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She has no health issues.

If you are looking for a warm, loving companion, Harriet is the girl for you! Please fill out the online application at if you would like to adopt Harriet, and then email and let her know you are interested in Harriet. Harriet is being fostered in Haslet, Texas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harriet, a Haslet Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Haslet, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Haslet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haslet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haslet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haslet paves the way for another one to be saved.
