My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, my name is Night. I’m a handsome, intelligent, 1 year old black and white Chihuahua. Don’t mistake me for one of those little purse dogs though! I like snuggles and lap time, but I also LOVE to run and play. I dart around really fast like The Flash in my backyard! I love to play with my foster sister; we wrestle, chase, and play with toys together. It took me a little time to warm up to my foster mom, but now I sit in her lap, let her pick me up, and I listen to commands too. I know how to sit really good! I do my business outside like I am supposed to; I’ve even figured out how to use the doggie door. Sometimes I enjoy just sitting in the grass and listening to the birds, so I do need my own backyard.
I do get nervous with new people and animals. I want a forever family that will keep up with my training so I can keep learning how to be the best dog. I need a lot of attention, boundaries, play time, and love. Young human kiddos might make me confused and nervous; and if I get too scared, I might nip. I would just feel too sad if I did that. I would love a mom or dad that is confident and tells me exactly what to do, because I really want to be a good dog for you all the time! Night is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchiped, de-wormed, had a fecal, and neutered. Night’s adoption fee is $250.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS.
