Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wedgewood is one of the most beautiful dogs we have rescued, he is approx 2 years old and 50 lbs, this sweet dog was shot in the face at a fairly close range, our vet did two surgeries on him.. one to remove the teeth that had been injured and to close a hole in the top of his mouth and the second surgery to close the wound on the side of his face where he was shot. One of his eyes is blind. We took him to the eye vet who said that at this time he would not remove the eye, but it may have to be removed at some point. The good news is that his other eye is clear and he has great vision in that eye. He was so lucky that he was not killed. Through all of his surgeries he has been the sweetest dog. He loves to roll over on his back for belly rubs and loves being with people, he likes being around other dogs and is just the nicest dog. It's so sad to think that someone injured this poor boy. These photos were taken just after his second surgery and his face should heal pretty quickly although he will probably always have a scar on his face. He needs a loving home with someone who can take him on nice walks and let him sit on the couch with them. We are not sure what type of dog he is but he has the most gorgeous colored coat a soft brown/gray..The vet thinks he may be a Chesapeake bay retriever mix…
