Cleo's Story...
Want a stunningly beautiful kitten who is gentle, affectionate, playful, and absolutely devoted to her human? Then Cleo is the kitty for you! This little girl is about 3 months old - the perfect age to acclimate to a new home - and has transformed from a frightened, tiny baby abandoned at the shelter into a confident, loving kitty ready to find her FORever family. Cleo comes running to her people with purrs, asking to be cradled in your arms. She adores children, and is extremely tolerant... enjoys being toted around, held on her back, kissed on her face and belly, and brushed. Cleo gets along great with other cats, or would be fine as an Only, getting all the attention for herself! Without a drop of arrogance, this sweetheart is grateful to be safe and loved, and will shower her human with affection in return. If you would like to learn more about Cleo please email us at info@FORrescue.net today! You may fast track things by completing an application at www.FORrescue.net. Cleo is currently being fostered in Huntsville, AL. Thank you!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cleo, a Homewood Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
