Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Most recent update:
Oreo is the sweetest girl! She is a one year old lab/beagle mix as best her vets and rescuers can tell. Oreo was rescued from a rural area by our southern rescue partners. She was found with Lexi (also one of our available dogs). She has been through surgery complications, heartworm treatment and was in need of socialization and medical care. She obviously loves kids and she is house-trained, crate-trained and great with other dogs too. When tested with cats, she was afraid of them.
Oreo is about 40 lbs and could stand to lose a couple; this won't be hard because she loves to play. She is a pretty active dog. She needs to be fed separately because she will eat the other dogs' food, nothing aggressive but she will clean out their dishes if given the chance - thus the need for Weight Watchers for her ; 0 )
Oreo loves everyone she meets!
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
