Barney's Story...
Hi! Barney's my name! I am a Shepherd mix boy, born in 2007, and now seeking my forever home here in beautiful Colorado.

I am quiet, sweet, a little shy, but very loving. I am easygoing and gentle on leash, very well-mannered and friendly. I will enjoy a home with someone who also enjoys the outdoors and will take me on walks. Adventures and hikes are great, but a little TLC and cuddle time would also be heavenly!

I want to be someone's great new companion, greet them every day, make them smile and make some wonderful memories. Hope to see you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney, a Denver Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Denver, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
