Cookie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cookie's Story...
Attention: Experienced small dog owners.
Cookie is only 5 pounds, full grown, and is a young adult. Because of her very small size and chihuahua personality, we are searching for a forever home who is experienced with tiny dogs, and possibly specializing in Chihuahuas. Cookie is friendly, curious, and does very well with other dogs and cats. She can be stressed by the sudden movements of children or people she doesn't know, so we want to match her with an adopter whose environment is best for her. We want Cookie and her adopter to enjoy their life together. She is fostered in Hazel Green, AL. If you'd like to talk with us about Cookie and possibly meet her, please email info@FORrescue.net. The starting point is our dog application at www.forrescue.net. Thank you for reading about tiny Cookie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie, a Nashville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
