Capp's Story...
Capp is a sweet boy who has come a long way from the hoarding situation that he used to live in. He likes to be petted and enjoys having his neck scratched. The big bad world can still scare him a bit and he can often be found in the safety of his hidey hole. But we know that with some TLC and patience he can transform into the wonderful loving cat we see inside of him. Living in a home like yours would be a dream come true for Capp. Capp is in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please call ahead to make arrangements. 413 324 8224.

Update 4/24 - Capp likes to walk around and check things out. Still shy but is now not phased by us walking around him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Capp, a Brimfield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brimfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brimfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brimfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brimfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brimfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
