Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adopt Mac:
Mac is a male Rottweiler / Husky mix who is approximately 3 years old.
He was on death row in a high kill shelter, and we were able to place him in foster care before he was euthanized.
It is clear that Mac has been subject to a history of abuse, he is quite shy, quiet, reserved, and flinches with minor movement of his foster mom. He seems to do well with a calm leader dog as a companion, as he looks to them for direction.
Mac has not shown any signs of aggression, though we'd like experienced adopter for Mac, due to the apparent history of neglect/abuse. Knowing how to read canine body language will be important in helping Mac on his way to emotional recovery. We've marked on his adoption profile no small kids. Not because he's aggressive, but because we want to place him in a home where he can quickly learn trust and respect.
Mac will be vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and neutered prior to adoption.
**depending on date of adoption you may need to provide him with a vaccine booster*.
