Chuckles aka Caesar, came to EHR 4 years ago when he was found as a stray & ended up at the Parsippany shelter. The shelter begged Eleventh Hour to take Chuckles in & find him a home because he was (and still is) SUCH a doll! Unfortunately someone who was not very nice cropped his ears really short but that didn’t change this boy’s personality at all. He was (and still is) a fun loving, friendly guy. He is extremely affectionate and likes to lay in your lap, his tail constantly wagging. He will follow you around because he loves being close to you. He loves to play and adores his Kongs and Nylabones. He is crate trained and loves car rides.
Chuckles was soon adopted by an older couple & was renamed Caesar (this is the name he knows). Now, after having him for four years, his owners moved to a place where Caesar was not welcome so they returned him to us. But now he is very sad, missing his owners badly and longing to be back into a loving, warm home.
Can you provide this boy with a new home? Caesar, being the loving, clinging sweetheart of a general (yep, just like Julius Caesar) that he is, prefers to be the only pet in the home & he would do best in a home where the children were 15+ years old. And like a true general, he takes guarding his home very seriously, protecting the ones he loves.
Caesar is located in Northern NJ. If you’d like to meet him & give him a forever home, please complete an application & be sure to mention his name – CAESAR (CHUCKLES)!
