My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Ryan. I am a 2 1/2 year old neutered male German Pinscher/Manchester Terrier mix. I weigh about 30 pounds.

As you can see from my pictures, I am just about the cutest guy around! I'm not just a pretty face, though. I have a winning personality, too! I'm sweet and cuddly, and just an all around happy pup! In fact, I'm pretty much always smiling.

I love everybody I meet. I'm always looking to make new human companions. Oh, and I should probably mention - I get along really well with other dogs, too. Nobody is a stranger in my book.

You probably want to know a little background information on me. Am I right? I was brought into a local high-kill shelter as a stray. It was immediately apparent that I was injured. My right front leg was swollen and I had some small bite wounds on it. The shelter veterinarian took X-rays and thankfully no fractures were found. I just had a little bit of an infection and all I needed was medication. Just a week later I was back to my normal self! Now you'd never know that I had been injured.

I'm looking for an active family. I'm still a young pup so running around in the yard, going for a hike, or meeting up with my friends at the dog park all sound like really fun things to do.
