9 yr old Female Bassett/Beagle Mix, potty trained, good with some dogs, unknown cats, kids 15 years or older,
Dolly is a goofy and noisy beagle girl who loves the sound of her own voice. She looks like a beagle Bassett mix with a long thick body and short ears. Dolly came into us because she was not getting along with the kids in her home. Their running and fast movements caused her a lot of anxiety which was not helping her to settle. Dolly came into us not a big fan of other dogs but quickly settled into a noisy routine with her foster siblings. This girl would do very well in a home with minimal to moderate traffic and kids over 15 or no kids at all. When Dolly bonds to her people she is very affectionate but can be mouthy/nibble when excited. We are working on redirecting this habit but the work will need to continue with her new family. Dolly seems to have the hang of potty training and did ok with the cat she was introduced to but does not live now with a cat. Please no apartments or Condos for Dolly. If you can not appreciate sweet musical hound voices this is not yourPlease note we do not have a central kennel facility, all of our pets are located in foster homes. The first step in meeting one of our furry friends is to fill out an application on our website at www.rainbowrescues.org. A volunteer will be in contact with you in 1-2 business days to review your application and speak with you about the adoption process.
