My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is a 4 year old terrier mix who weighs 13 lbs. He is new to rescue and we are just finding out a little about him. When we picked him up from the shelter he was shaking like a leaf. He is coming out of his shell a little each day and will now walk on leash and play with the other dog in his household and allow himself to be held and bathed. However he is still afraid of other dogs, strangers and walking along the city streets on a leash. He is not a barker and not aggressive. He seems to be mainly housetrained. Because of his fears we do not recommend him for a home with small children at this time. Pepper is gentle, affectionate and shy but warms up quickly. He needs a gentle, patient person who will help him gain confidence and love life again.
