My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peaches is a beautiful, adult purebred Maltese. She has a lovely white coat of non-shedding hair that was recently professionally groomed. She currently weighs 8 lbs and could weigh 1 pound less. She gets very excited when she hears the words, “Do you want a treat?” or “It’s time to eat.” Peaches is a very happy, enthusiastic little dog. She knows basic commands and is house trained. Since she has been a family pet her entire life, she is friendly, likes children, and gets along with other small dogs. Now all she desires is a family of her own.

PEACHES STORY: When Peaches was very pregnant, she was surrendered by her owner due to financial problems. Last fall Peaches was staying with a family member who had a young male Maltese, and at 9 years of age she got pregnant. Peaches had one puppy that has been adopted. Now Peaches would like a forever home of her own. She has been spayed, had a recent dental, and has a microchip. This playful, happy little girl is seeking a forever home.

Peaches will be at the Petsmart in La Jolla Village Square this Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m
