Buttercup's Story...
Hi I am Buttercup, I am a 3-yr old staffie with lots of love to give! I am on the calm side, I love to cuddle, go on walks, to play and to have an engaging life. I recently re-joined PPITS when my former adoptive parents decided to return me to the rescue as they could no longer keep me. Upon my return to the rescue, I completed professional training and I could be eligible for a Good Canine Citizen Certificate. Initially I was saved by PPITS at the 11th hour from being euthanized at San Bernardino Shelter. When they saved me, I had 50% pneumonia in my lungs and while they were taking great care of me. I surprised them with 4 puppies in my belly! My puppies were born on April 2, 2015. I look forward toa loving forever family! Will that be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttercup, a Newport Beach Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
