My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Champaign! Champaign was born around 12-14-14. Champaign was a breeder surrender along with her brother Merlot. We think due to illness as they both had lice and an upper respiratory infection. Champaign came in not walking well as we believe she was kept in a crate the entire time she was at the breeder. Once she get some exercise and was able to use her muscles, all was good. The vet did take some xrays just to be sure she was fine, and the xrays were good.

Dad is a poodle and mom is a lab/pug mix we were told. She arrived into the rescue on February 14th and was treated for whatever was needed. She is healthy now and ready for his forever home.

Champaign is very sweet can be timid but loves other dogs she love to play and loves her toy. She is crate trained. Still working on potty training but getting better! She is not leash trained as the foster has a fence and doesn't need a leash. Champaign is super smart and food motivated! Learned to sit in a day. She loves to cuddle up at anytime of the day.

Champaign is being in a home in Bolingbrook, and is loved by all. She is a little shy, and quick movements can scare her. A home without small children would be best and she will need a fully fenced in yard with a physical fence. No electronic fences. Please note if you are planning on installing a fence, but do not have one currently, that will not qualify as a current existing fence. Champaign loves other dogs and that is helping to build her confidence, so a home with an existing dog in the home would be best for Champaign.

If you think this pup might fit perfectly into your family and you would like to meet her, please fill out our Adoption application which can be found on our website at www.angelsonwheels.org. An approved adoption application is required prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet. We do not have a physical building for you to visit thus the reason an application is required prior to making an appointment. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

The adoption fee of $300.00 includes: This pup now comes with 30 free pet insurance, the spaying which will be done when he is old enough. AOW will pay if done through one of our participating vets, and a fully refundable $50.00 spay deposit will be required. She is current on her DHPP vaccination, rabies if over 4 months, microchip, treated with revolution, leash and collar, and any other medical needs.

You will also receive a free office visit to one of our participating vets for a free health exam. Thank you for looking at our rescued animals.
