Abby's Story...
Abby is a real sweetheart! She is only about a year old, and although a little cautious at first, she quickly warms up and will be on your lap in no time! She loves to play, likes other dogs and gets along with cats and kids. She loves her toys and entertains herself with them. She is great on a leash and listens well to correction. She is so ready for her forever home, and she would love to meet you! She's the perfect size at just about 30#. Abby will make a great family dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Charlotte Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
