My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there. My name is Vinnie. I'm about 2-3 years old and I weigh about 45 lbs.
My owner was incarcerated and none of my owner's family could keep me or care for new for that long so they had to surrender me here to the pound so I can find a new home.
I'm a really great, sweet and loving boy with all of the people I have met here at the pound.
I love being in the office and going for long walks, but like many of the other dogs that come here, I dislike being alone in my kennel.
I'm a very clean dog in my kennel and I do not have accidents in the office.
I get along well with female dogs especially if they are submissive and I seem to do well with younger submissive males but the pound doesn't think I will do well with a dog that is dominant.
I lived with a female Pit Bull and at one time even our puppies but my old mom rehomed all of them prior to being incarcerated.
If you're looking for a sweet, beautiful Pittie to add to your family, please consider adopting me!

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER MARCH 16, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS
