My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I’m Sheba

My new name is Sheba. And after you read about me you’ll quickly realize that I’m the PERFECT DOG. Go ahead—keep reading and then come get me!

A two and half year-old Husky/German Shepherd/Chow mix, I’m pretty easy to spot. While running loose on March 1st at the intersection of Windfern and Perry in NW Houston, a lady pulled over to the side of road, called out something sweet and soothing, and I ran right over to her. Cautious at first, I let the lady pat my head, then pick me up and put me in her SUV. She took me home and put a body harness on me easily. After a little while I ate food and drank water, showed my savior some tail wagging affection and, after meeting the lady’s two Golden Retrievers, was very, very happy. (To top things off, I later showed them all that I could go potty outside on command!)

Please contact Friends for Life for a closer look at me! I’m very calm, friendly and loving. Quiet. (I don’t bark much.) Very playful, I love people who love giving me affection. I get along great with other dogs. I know how to behave on a leash. And I’ll even let you clean my paws without complaint!

So what are you waiting for? I’m the perfect dog—available for the perfect owner!!!

Love, Sheba!!
