Bear Cinco a handsome, smart, affectionate, all-around wonderful dog who is currently living with a foster family. He gets along great with the family's other dog. They play together and have a daily tug of war with their toys. He has not demonstrated any issues with respect to sharing food or toys with the resident dog. Bear has met three or four other dogs in the neighborhood and interacts well with them and their owners. Since there are no cats in the foster family's home, his behavior around them is yet unknown. Bear will require cat testing by Eleventh Hour prior to being adopted into a family with cats.

He loves to go for walks, is good on a leash and doesn't pull. He's great in the car too.

Bear is a good listener and is very well behaved. He is housebroken and non-destructive. He is given run of the house while his family is at work and has behaved like a perfect gentleman. Bear is a super-snuggler who gives kisses and loves affection. He's made himself right at home and practically lives on his foster parents' bed.

Bear didn't eat for the first three days of being in foster care, but as he became more comfortable with his surroundings has regained his appetite and now eats normally. He will gently accept a hand-fed treat. He didn't love a bath but tolerated it very well and behaved nicely in the tub.

While Bear has demonstrated a steady, gentle and affectionate disposition, we believe he will do best in a home with adults or a family with older, considerate children only.
