POPPY's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

POPPY's Story...
POPPY was rescued along with his mama Lilly, and four siblings...Aster, Petunia, Buttercup & Tulip. Lilly is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet, and her babies are too cute for words. They were born approximately 1/19/15. Mom is a wire-haired Terrier mix and weighs 35 lbs. Her puppies have the build & looks of Lab babies, but we cannot be certain what breed they are or how big they will get. They are active, happy pups who love to romp & play, and would love active families to explore the world with!

Adoption fee for the pups is $350. They will have two sets of puppy vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed & microchipped. For adoption guidelines and to submit an application, please go to this link: http://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ If you do not receive a reply within 3 days of application submission, please email DollysLegacy@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

POPPY, a Lincoln Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
