Lucky Lucy was rescued from a local shelter in rough shape! She is obese and behind on her medical care. This is often the case with seniors that are surrendered to shelters or rescue and the expenses involved in getting them up to date and healthy are often extreme. A senior dental for neglected teeth is often very expensive. It speaks volumes for making sure that our animals are kept healthy and up to date during their young lives!
Lucy is about 9 years old and has lived a rough life! She is now up to date on vaccinations and on the spa plan to lose some weight and feel better. It is tough on a dog her age to be this heavy and really weighs on the joints and back. Stay tuned as we follow her progress towards better health!
