Stevie's Story...
Stevie is a teenie little chihuahua who is about 6 years old. Poor little Stevie has been in our local pound, adopted, then given up again. He has finally made it to ADA and we are going to find this guy a forever home to love him for the rest of his life! He are also going to get his dirty little teeth cleaned so he will be ready to smile at his new family! Will he be smiling at you?

Caramel is a beautiful black and tan/ bluetick mix who is sure to grow up to be stunning. There are two more females and a male in her litter. They are happy and friendly and sure to make excellent new family members! Puppies are a LIFETIME COMMITMENT and we do require that puppy adopters be willing to attend basic training classes and a care for the rest of the dog's life.

$175.00 adoption donation ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enought), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stevie, a Staunton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
