Laci's Story...
Meet Laci, a beautiful, petite 6 year old Japanese Chin, she weighs just 10 lbs. She is a quiet girl who loves to sit outside in the sunshine and watch the world go by. She is a little shy and timid but enjoys sitting in a lap once she gets used to you.

She is working on housetraining and has learned to use the doggie door and is nearly there. Laci would love a home that is quiet and peaceful, loud noises and sudden movements frighten her. She would be ok in a home where she is the only dog or a home with other dogs. She is up to date on vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and has recently had a dental. She does have dry eye and will need eye drops twice a day.

If you feel you can give this sweet senior girl the forever home she deserves, please complete an online application at www.treasuredpalsrescue.org indicating in your application you are interested in Laci. Once you complete the application, please contact jcharlton1@att.net to let her know of your interest. Laci is being fostered in Haslet, TX.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Laci, a Haslet Japanese Chin dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Japanese Chin for sale in Haslet, or seeking a Japanese Chin dog from a breeder in Haslet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haslet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haslet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Japanese Chin breeders who help with Japanese Chin rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haslet paves the way for another one to be saved.
