My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB February 28, 2012.

Clara and her sweet friend Chaplin were rescued from a barn early in February 2015. At first these sweeties were quite nervous and shy and understandably so; but within a couple of days these girls decided life was pretty good on the inside and have never looked back. Clara and Chaplin are living a pretty comfortable life in their loving foster home; warmed up food, plenty of treats, cozy blankets, lots of toys and their favourite of all ... cuddles and snuggles with their foster mom.

Clara is a stunning black and white girl. Her fur is gorgeous and healthy and her little spirit is so trusting. Clara is a little bit cautious of new people and new situations but once she realizes she is safe, she becomes her silly, relaxed, cute self. Clara has lived a pretty rough life; she came into rescue extremely underweight and with a very bad eye infection. Love and wonderful vet care has given this sweetie a new lease on life; Clara is now healthy and happy. She does have a little bit of scarring on one eye (from the infection). This scarring causes her no pain or discomfort, but has left her with limited sight in that eye; it does not require medical care. Her eye reminds us of the struggles and hardship she endured as a "barn cat." Clara and her friend Chaplin deserve to live the easy life of indoor cats and family pets.

Clara loves to play; she loves to chase string and pounce on her little catnip mice. She loves to be petted and brushed.

Clara will do great in a laid back, loving home. She gets along very well with other cats and has adjusted nicely to the young children in her foster home. Clara has not yet been exposed to dogs. It would be a dream come true for Clara to be adopted into her forever home with her best friend and partner in crime, Chaplin.
