We rescued Kingsley in May of 2006. He wouldn't come near anyone for the first few days, and had never had a collar on or been walked on a leash. It took about a week for us to get him used to the leash, and now he lives for his walks. It took about six weeks for him to let my husband get near him, let alone put the leash on him, but now, he absolutely loves him. Kingsley is also very friendly to our neighbors.

Kingsley is about 45 pounds, was neutered last June, and is current on all of his shots. He doesn't like cats, or children. He would probably do best as the only dog in a home. He's not aggressive with other dogs when out for a walk, but will bark at them if they're walking by while he's behind our fence. He is house trained, and is not a barker, except for the scenario mentioned above.
