Chastity's Story...
Loves to play and loves to cuddle!

After Chastity was surrendered by her owner to a local high-kill shelter, Friends for Life rescued her so that she could finally find her forever family. She is a beauty with spellbinding golden eyes and a sweet soul. Chastity is a combination of sweetness mixed with a bit of spunk, like a feline Sophia Loren.

She is very playful and loves all kinds of toys and treats. One of her favorite treats is interacting with you for some pets and playtime, like chasing a laser light dot. She is a cuddly cutie and likes to climb into bed with you as soon as you do and waits adoringly for you to wake in the morning. Chastity is playful and curious and always up to explore and climb to get a different point of view. There is so much to love and cherish about Chastity that you will wonder how you ever got along without her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chastity, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
