My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ava is a beautiful Kurilian Bobtail who came to HPC after her owner became too ill to care for her. She is super sweet and friendly, and while she's not much of a lap cat she will purr and want to be pet all the time. She also loves to follow her foster mom all around the house. She was an only cat before but is now with 3 other kitties and doing totally fine. She is fixed, uses the litter box perfectly (even the weird electronic one in her foster home was a piece of cake), eats well, and has no apparent issues.


Kurilian Bobtails are a rare breed in the states, but they are very popular in Russia due to the fact that they appear to have no genetic issues and are fairly low maintenance. More information on the breed can be found here: http://www.animalplanet.com/tv-shows/cats-101/videos/kurilian-bobtail/
