Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tristan (Tri-color) is a very special, sweet, shy little boy who just wants to be loved and held close. He is more of a typical chihuahua, a little shaky and nervous, he was the smallest of the litter and is not as confident yet as his bigger brothers, he stands back to let them explore first before following suit. He is only 5lbs, but still growing, and sometimes they are a little too rough for him but he tries to join in. Tristan would be happy to be carried all day or snuggle in your lap, he would be a great companion for someone who can give him lots of attention or someone has another small and calm dog to keep him company. He enjoys giving kisses and getting belly rubs and falling asleep in your lap. He does like to bark and spring around in the air playing, but as you approach he can be a bit timid. This improves over time, but he needs someone that understand his typical Chihuahua nature.
Tristan is puppy pad trained in the area he sleeps in at night and seeks out the pee pads when playing in the house. Potty training does need more work as he is still a baby.
Tristan's Mom is an adorable sweet natured Chihuahua (12.9lbs) rescued from the streets of the Fifth Ward in Houston just 3 weeks before she gave birth on the 22nd December. Dad is unknown.
We would like him to be placed in a loving home where he will get lots of attention (love), time and care. It’s a life he deserves after such a rocky start.
His adoption fee is $175.
