COURTESY POST

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.

Buddy is a beautiful pure white male Oriental Shorthair mix, with laughing, innocent, blue eyes, and a sleek and athletic build. Buddy is special needs kitty as he is deaf, though he may hear some high pitched noises. He has this innocence about him that is very endearing. He has this adorable way of tilting his head. It’s just way too cute. Due to being hearing-impaired, this lovely guy must be kept out of harm's way, but otherwise he enjoys life and his handicap does not slow him down at all.

He is a total clown and super inquisitive! He instantly purrs when he sees you, unless of course he is playing! He bats at sunbeams and chases feathers. He also takes swats at the water running in the kitty fountain. Buddy runs around the house with his favorite toys in his mouth. We have found his toys in some entertaining places. Shoes are for dragging around the house and chewing on, he loves sneakers. He could be a puppy in a kitten's body. Buddy needs a lot of hard play and attention to wear him out! He loves bags and boxes. He also likes to clear off the kitchen counter. His humans now make sure anything breakable is not on the kitchen counter where he can push it off.

Buddy is generally laid back and trusting with everyone. He can entertain himself with the various toys around the house. When he has finally played enough and needs to sleep, he might find you and curl up near you, or just crash on a nice cozy blanket with his sister close by. Well, he does occasionally fall asleep in random places though, like a shelf or draped over the arm of a chair. I think you get the picture.

Bella, and her brother Buddy, are best friends! They rough and tumble, and gallop around the house together. The bond between Bella and Buddy is very strong so they must be adopted together.

They are both wonderful with children. They do not scratch even visiting children. They like to be wherever the action is in the house. They are a major part of the family and the more active the better.

Every night Buddy and Bella go to bed with the two boys in the home. They watch them brush their teeth and they get into bed with their favorite. Buddy sits on the back of the toilet and watches the boys take showers and baths. Once the boys are asleep, both cats go into the parent’s room and join them on their bed.

The owner says “I just cannot imagine another family, especially children, loving this pair more and it has been the reason I have delayed in sending this message to you. These two are incredible cats, litter box perfect, sleep and snuggle with us and the kids (initially), eat dry cat food, are playful, sociable, affectionate, and I can go on forever. I have an infinite number of pictures of them, sleeping together, with the kids, with the dog, snuggling on the couch in the evening with the boys, etc. They are truly great family cats, get along spectacularly with our boxer, who is 9 and chases them too. I have a great connection with Buddy. He actually comes running over to me now and waits for me to pet him. Bella will come running to you if she hears her name anywhere in the house. She is amazing and never leaves my side. Both of them snuggle with me on the couch in the evenings. Buddy sits on the back of the toilet and watches the boys take showers and baths. It is breaking our hearts that we have tried everything to get Buddy to leave Bubbles, our other cat, alone but nothing has worked. We can’t separate Bella and Buddy it would be totally unfair. So the only thing we can do is to find them both a loving family.”

Are you looking for a great pair of family cats? Bella and Buddy are the ones for you!
