Stormy is a female gray domestic short hair, born June 9th 2009.
Serenity was abandoned when her uncaring former family got angry that she had become pregnant (which is almost a certainty for unaltered female cats left outside). Serenity got by the best she could, and gave birth to her kittens in a woodpile. She was found by a kindly neighbor, and brought to Kitty Corner. Although she was not even a year old herself and far too young to be a mother, Serenity was a wonderful mother to her kittens.
Serenity has been adopted, along with her kitten Tornado.
Stormy was adopted as a kitten, and she spent many years with her family. Recently, a new family member was found to be allergic to cats, so Stormy was returned to Kitty Corner. Stormy is awaiting a new family to join, along with her litter mates Thunder (grey and white male), Twilight (solid black female), and Lightning (black and white female). The siblings do not need to be adopted together.
Stormy's former family cited no medical or behavioral problems, and indicated she was a wonderful companion pet.
Stormy is cautious when meeting strangers. She usually hangs back to watch a few of our more outgoing cats interact with the new person before coming over to meet them herself. Once she has decided you are OK to approach, she relaxes and soon becomes a loving lap cat.
Stormy gets along well with most of the other cats here. She is great pals with her litter mates, and with some of our other cats here.
Can you be the patient person that Stormy has been looking for to give her a forever home? If you are, please call to come by to meet her - Stormy promises to love you forever!
