Gia's Info...

Gia's Story...
Meet me Saturday from 12:00-3:00 at Petco - 645 S. Green Valley Pkwy in Henderson!

Precious doesn't begin to do this sweet girl justice! Approximately 11 weeks old and looking like a Sheltie mix, Gia is a loving puppy who adores people. If your lap isn't available then she'll snuggle up on your foot for a nap, so sweet! Gia gets along well with other dogs, is fine with cats and is at a great age to start puppy classes to learn how to be a well-mannered dog. We are estimating her adult size to be around 15 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines, her adoption fee is $300. Please submit an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org if you'd like to meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gia, a Henderson Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Henderson, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy from a breeder in Henderson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Henderson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Henderson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Henderson paves the way for another one to be saved.
