Paisley's Story...
Paisley is an adorable six month old charcoal grey female looking for a loving guardian.

Paisley is very fun to watch and handle. When she is not sleeping, she is a busy girl spinning on her wheel, playing and stuffing their cheeks with all her favorite foods. The main diet of hamsters is pellets, supplemented with small amounts of fresh foods.

She is a very happy, healthy, energetic and sweet hamster. To meet and possibly adopt Paisley, please contact me directly at sheri@petraits.com or 773-777-2891. Her adoption fee is $10. If you need a complete set-up for Paisley the hamster including cage, food, water bottle and exercise wheel, that is available for $30.

She is currently living with me in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paisley, a Chicago Hamster was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hamster for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Hamster from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hamster breeders who help with Hamster rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
